Since the last CGB Newsletter, there’s been a strong shift in the way that Google responds to searches.

AI Overview responses are increasing.

The Google searches we’ve become accustomed to are available. Now it takes a few more scrolls to find them.

Google still answers questions. But, AI Overview pops-up first. To get to the Google answers, patience and perseverance are needed to scroll to the needed response.

I’m not saying this is a good thing or a bad thing. I’m just saying that this change makes it increasingly challenging to get information about job availability.

My curiosity is leading me to do some research into this. I will let you know what I find.
